Here's another little application that can help with small time developers. It's Icon Creator for Windows. Very simple and easy to use click to run application. No need for installation.
With this little program, you can change any file's date! Not exactly sure what the biggest benefit is for it, but it's a very useful little application!
Unpark CPU is a lightweight system utility application that can give PC users of all knowledge levels the ability to take control over the Windows OS built-in service that controls the usage of the central CPU chip. One of the numerous services that Windows OS constantly balances in the background is the process of activating and turning off the processing threads inside of the CPU.
This is most notable in laptops, where OS wants to preserve as much power as possible at all times, often sacrificing performance to do so. From time to time, the OS can turn off specific or majority of threads, and thus save power, reduce the thermal output of the chip, or any other reason. However, some users want to have access to all processing power their PC can have, and therefore, they want to take control over CPU parking. With the Unpark CPU app, PC users can with just a few simple clicks unpack some or all CPU cores on their PC.
Unpark CPU application is distributed online in a small ZIP archive that holds just a single Exe file. This application is fully portable and can be easily transported and used on the fly directly from a USB stick.
Even though its primary usage is just switching a few commands in the protected areas of Windows OS that are responsible for keeping in touch with CPU, this app manages to offer few additional benefits. For start, it features a small visualization window that showcases the number of detected CPU cores, number of parked cores, and the visual graph of the current CPU utilization. Below are dropdown menus for the currently active power plans (System Power Plan and System Power State), a simple to use Core Parking Index Slider, and a handy “Unpark All” button on the very bottom. Users who just want to quickly unlock all cores can click on that button (or pick the desired level of Core Parking Index) and click on the Apply button. That’s it.
By having all CPU cores unparked, they will be utilized much more frequently and strongly, which can lead to increased performance (for example in gaming or video processing). However, users should be aware that this forced unparking procedure will directly affect power usage and heat dissipation of your CPU. This is especially important to laptop users who can very quickly drain their battery if the CPU is tasked to never pack his inactive cores. Unpark CPU is 100% FREE and is optimized for all modern versions of Windows OS.

As of March 4, 2022, we have started to transfer over to a new web hosting provider, and a whole new platform. The process will take some time to transfer over, so in the mean time you can access our downloads from our Box.com account. To view our Box.com files, follow the link below this article.
We have also lost several dozens of files from our previous hosting service, and will continue to recover as much as we can. So in the meantime, we have created a forum based website so users can share files to the rest of the community.
So I wanted to say thank you again for everyone who has stuck around!
